10 Good Reasons To Choose Us

The directors of the company have over 37 years’ experience in pest and invasive weed control and are genuinely passionate about what we do and the service we deliver.

Before we give you 10 great reasons to choose us…

Pest Control and Invasive Weed Control is perhaps not on everyone’s career or ‘things to do’ list. However, when you’re faced with an infestation on your premises you need a company that you can trust and rely upon and which operate to the highest of standards. Pest control unfortunately does have a reputation as an unregulated industry – standards and regulations are slowly improving, and we embrace this!

All pest control staff are British Pest Control Association (BPCA) and / or Royal Society of Public Health trained and qualified. All invasive weed control staff are Property Care Association (PCA) (PCAQT qualified technicians in Japanese Knotweed), City & Guilds NPTC PA1/6 & Lantra PA6/W (Water) & PA6/INJ (Stem Injection) trained and qualified. It’s important to remember that we use pesticides & herbicides and, you want the assurance that these products are being used responsibly and in accordance with all Legislation and pack labels

Trained service staff are fully equipped to deal with your problem. There’s nothing more irritating than companies turning up ill equipped and saying we need to reschedule another appointment to complete the work

All service staff are ‘DBS ENHANCED DISCLOSURE & BARRING CHECKED’. As part of our treatments / inspections, we access sensitive locations and buildings, you may also be asked to vacate your premises in order that we can dispense the product in accordance with Health & Safety requirements. In essence we are ‘lone working’ within your premises. All our staff go through regular ‘enhanced disclosure & barring’ DBS checks which allows us to make recruitment or suitability decisions on those who are going to be lone working or working in regulated / sensitive areas. Our service teams welcome and encourage all our customers to ask us for their enhanced DBS information. If you don’t currently ask for this information on any personnel working (in particularly lone working) on your premises, we recommend you do. Our experience is it often leads to some interesting conversations

We continually strive to be a socially responsible business. We currently donate 2% of our turnover to The Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice which is based in Barnet, North London. Our social responsibility policy is reviewed annually

We never oversell and tell customers they need something when actually they don’t. This is an unsustainable short-term profit approach. We aim for trust and longevity of your custom whilst creating a working partnership and hopefully leading to ‘word of mouth’ business referrals.

No pushy salespeople who have monthly threshold targets to hit and who’s company managers have shareholders to pay. We’ve all had experiences with pushy salespeople, and if you’re like us, it’s one thing that switches us off. You will be provided with honest and cost-effective advice. You will then be left in peace to make your decision.

We will deliver what we promise. Some companies will oversell and over promise which will ultimately disappoint and underdeliver.

We are fully insured. Our high working standards have resulted in zero accidents or claims. As everyone is acutely aware, accidents can happen and, you can be assured that we are fully covered in these events.

Our strategy of constant communication & accurate reporting will highlight any environmental, hygiene or proofing issues which could be conducive to continued pest activity. By working with you and removing these defects, will result in the elimination of further pest infestation and on-going costs to you.

And the 10 th reason – Our vehicles are unmarked and we are very discreet. There will be no vehicles turning up on your driveway or business premises with PEST CONTROL emblazoned on it and no operatives inspecting your premises with PEST CONTROL emblazoned on their uniforms. If you have a pest issue, there’s unlikely to be a positive benefit to you in advertising this fact,
